Gros Morne Institute of Sustainable Tourism

“This Institute will contribute to positioning Atlantic Canada as a world leader in sustainable tourism,” says Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador president Stan Cook. Starting this fall, all sectors of the tourism industry workforce will have access to three individual, yet integrated tourism industry development programs: sustainable tourism practices; experiential tourism services; and eco-adventure tourism.
Fourth Wave is thrilled to have been selected to lead the development of the strategic foundation of the Institute's operational and business model with its key stakeholders/funding partners and new Executive Director. This project builds upon Fourth Wave's proven capabilities in:
- Developing customized education initiatives for various industries/sectors
- Designing and facilitating tourism and marketing strategies (multi- jurisdictional)
- Developing and delivering experiential learning programs and approaches
- Designing and delivering leadership and management professional development and training
