Visioning - Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site
January, 2005
Fourth Wave was selected to design and facilitate Parks Canada's first ever stakeholder visioning session for a National historic Site and National Park. The session drew from a range of stakeholder interests and expertise, and generated strong agreement around key themes that define the preferred future for Kej. The vision will guide the development of the remaining elements in the management plan's strategic framework.
Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, located in two separate and distinct blocks of land, represents the Atlantic Coast Uplands Natural Region of southwestern Nova Scotia. The inland portion features 381 square kilometres of lakes and forest covered rolling hills, while the Seaside Adjunct protects 22 square kilometres of rugged Atlantic coastline.
We at Fourth Wave are very proud of our role in helping Parks Canada with its mandate of presenting and protecting our precious natural and cultural heritage.
