Banff National Park Ecological Integrity Education Initiative 2004
July, 2004
Fourth Wave has been retained to contribute to the strategy for a special $2 million investment in ecological integrity education in Banff National Park.
As Canada's most intensively used and most visible national park, Banff manages the challenges of many EI issues in an environment that attracts over four million visitors, with a variety of motives and interests, each year. The investment will be used to weave the concept of ecological integrity into a complete and enhanced visitor experience; to win the hearts, minds and support of the biggest group of on-site visitors.
This project is one of two Centres of Excellence in Ecological Integrity Education - the other project is in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick. Fourth Wave is delighted to be providing assitance to both of these important projects.
