Evaluation of The Registered Nurses Professional Development Center

Fourth Wave is currently facilitating the second phase of an evaluation study for the Registered Nurses Professional Development Center. The Centre is in year two of a five year transition to implement its new mandate to provide performance based certification to nurses in the province of Nova Scotia and the Atlantic region.

The project entails conducting a progress evaluation of the implementation of the business strategy, and design a systematic ongoing evaluation process for continuous improvement. The results should be of great interest to employers, and especially health professionals who require a high degree of confidence in their level of competence for today's evolving practice environments.
