Federal/Provincial Rural Team - Nova Scotia. The Canadian Rural Partnership is the key policy framework supporting federal rural policy, and is funded by $20 million. The mission of the Nova Scotia Rural Team is to build and support integrated partnerships between government and community in order to foster innovative and sustainable rural communities.

Synopsis:
Fourth Wave designed and facilitated the business planning process for the Federal/Provincial Rural Team. The process included a scan of existing documents, development of a customized plan framework, a process to fill the gaps and to consolidate existing elements into the new framework, development of planning tools, facilitation of a Team-based planning session, and the management of a validation process.

Extensive analysis and synthesis of the information was required to produce the business plan framework, which included vision and mission statements, values, strategic directions, critical success factors, goals and objectives, and mission supportive priorities.
