Project profiles

Client:
Glaxo Wellcome(now GlaxoSmithKline -GSK), and the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. GSK is a world leading pharmaceutical company with $29.5 billion in sales and 100,000 employees. The Lung Association of Nova Scotia mission is to improve quality of life by controlling and preventing lung disease through research, advocacy, patient services and education.

Consulting Services:
Change management strategy, learning design, facilitation, large scale learning event design, competency development

Synopsis:
Fourth Wave designed and facilitated "Asthma: Partnering for Change", a Learning Forum for 180 Atlantic Asthma Educators. The event explored the roles of multidisciplinary teams and team members in changing health care system, and the competencies required for asthma education. This project helped transform the way in which health care disciplines work together, and led to the creation of a network of asthma clinics throughout the Atlantic region.
