Information Economy Initiative (iei) - this initiative exploits the economic and social development potential of information technology infrastructure to stimulate educational, employment and business development opportunities throughout Nova Scotia. This is a $65 million federal-provincial, private sector and institutional initiative.

Strategic planning, stakeholder consultation

Synopsis:
Fourth Wave designed and facilitated the process to create the iei strategic framework with the iei Council. The Council's membership is comprised of Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Nova Scotia Department of Education, Nova Scotia Technology and Science Secretariat, Industry Canada, Nova Scotia Department of Education, Nova Scotia Council of Higher Education. The process included working sessions, one-day planning retreats, consolidation of stakeholder research, creation of a key stakeholder discussion paper.
