Client:
IWK Health Centre - a tertiary care health centre located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, dedicated to education, research, family centred care, and health promotion to children, women and families in the three Maritime provinces and beyond. The IWK has more than 2,400 staff.

Consulting Services:
Post-merger strategic planning, Leadership retreat (Board and Senior Leadership Team)

Synopsis:
Fourth Wave designed and facilitated the process to create the first strategic plan for the newly merged IWK Grace Health Centre. We worked with the Board of Directors, President and CEO, all senior management and many ad-hoc planning groups within the Health Centre over a six-month period. We trained in-house facilitators to enable the inclusion of the two thousand employees and one thousand volunteers in the process.

Four years later, Fourth Wave was honoured by being invited back to the Health Centre, where we designed and facilitated the subsequent strategic plan.
