Synopsis:
Fourth Wave was retained to design and facilitate this strategy development process the Nova Scotia Department of Health. Nursing is one of the largest health professions in the province. The objective of the project was to review the current Nova Scotia Nursing Strategy and identify areas of impact; compare the Nova Scotia Nursing Strategy to other Nursing Strategies across Canada; and develop a Nursing strategy for 2007-2012 that will ensure an adequate number of qualified RNs and LPNs to meet the evolving health system needs.

This project builds upon our other project experience in the Health sector; including the leadership strategy for the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia, Pan-Canadian Health Human Resource Planning and work with administration, programs and health care delivers.
